This celebration of spring is the only time each year Lauritzen Gardens offers an opportunity for visitors to purchase plants. The annual plant sale features hundreds of plants found within the garden. There are more than 5,000 plants on sale from Lauritzen Gardens as well as a wide variety on sale from area garden clubs and plant societies.

Hey, the gardening season should be bringing in questions or interesting tidbits from the gardeners out there. We need to have some feedback on the publication, articles, pictures, etc., and we the people back in behind the publication could really use a little or a lot of comments. My one question for others would be that I have a Sweet Birch(Betula lenta) that has no leaves on the top 8-10 feet that is exposed to south winds. Do I cut the top out or cut the whole tree down? The tree is 9 years old and about 18 feet tall. Comments??????????
